Pam Haslam's Retirement - Friday, November 15th, 3:30-5:30 PM

This week we say good-bye to a legend.  Miss Pam has devoted her life to Newman.  She grew up in this neighborhood and attended Newman as a child and has been working at Newman since 1986 and in the front office since 1989.   She has worked in both the old and the new Newman buildings and has worked for seven principals.  As secretary Pam has been mom not only to her three sons but more than 3500 students and many faculty and staff members.  Besides keeping the school running and organized, she has stopped hundreds of bloody noses; soothed tummy aches and skinned knees; mended broken hearts; administered medications, splinted broken bones and done countless loads of laundry and many other acts of service.  She is a master listener to both young and old.  When asked what words best describe Pam past and present co-workers and administrators named these:  integrity, loving, indispensable, friend, patient, kind, caring, giving, helpful, genuine, wonderful, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

Thank you Pam for the kind greetings, friendly smiles, the countless acts of service, the hugs, the memories.  We love you to the moon and back and wish you the best on your retirement adventure.
