Leanne Kaltenbaugh

About Me

Hi Newman Tigers! My name is Leanne Kaltenbaugh and I am the school speech-language pathologist. I was born and raised in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. (Go Steelers!) I attended the University of Pittsburgh for Communication Science and Disorders, and completed my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Ohio University. After graduating, I stayed in Ohio for several years, working at a children’s hospital before the mountains brought me to Salt Lake City in 2017. I love making speech therapy fun, while also building functional communication skills! I am passionate about helping students communicate effectively and confidently so that they can succeed inside and outside of the classroom. In my free time, I enjoy taking advantage of the mountains--climbing, hiking, camping, skiing, playing pickleball, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.  I am so excited and proud to be a part of the Newman family. GO TIGERS!
